A dedicated and experienced member of UNIT, Colonel Ibrahim can occasionally be a little rash to go into battle but is committed to the defence of the Earth - while fitting in a workout when he can. He has developed a close working relationship with Kate Lethbridge-Stewart, both as his superior officer and as a friend, and she trusts him as her closest second-in-command.

Character Bio

A high-ranking member of UNIT, Colonel Ibrahim is Kate Lethbridge-Stewart's right-hand man and the most prominent member of their military division.

The Fourteenth Doctor first meets him during the global mass-hysteria caused by the Toymaker. Colonel Ibrahim extracts the Time Lord, along with Donna Noble and Wilfred Mott, from the streets of London, taking him to UNIT HQ. He witnesses the Doctor's bi-generation into the Fifteenth Doctor, and later takes the Toybox, containing the defeated, crushed Toymaker, to the “deepest” UNIT vault.

The Colonel is present at UNIT HQ when Sutekh, an old enemy of the Doctor’s, materialises around the TARDIS. Like the rest of the Earth’s population, he is killed by Sutekh’s deadly dust, though is brought back to life after the God is defeated by the Doctor and Ruby Sunday

Ibrahim joins Kate, Shirley Bingham, and the UNIT taskforce sent to aid Ruby and her boyfriend, Conrad Clark, when they report a sighting of an escaped creature known as the Shreek. When this proves to be a stunt set up by Conrad’s activism group to out UNIT’s “lies”, Ibrahim remains firmly by the side of Kate as together they work to manage the fallout and protect the organisation’s reputation. When Kate pulls off a dangerous stunt to out Conrad and clear UNIT’s name, Ibrahim is there to warn her of her rash decision-making, suggesting Geneva may take issue with her leadership.
