Bone Beasts

"It's weird, innit?" "Like they're there, but... not there."

Massive and skeletal, the Bone Beasts tread across the skyline of the Wish World. Creatures of the Underverse, the Bone Beasts follow the trail of, and feed on, excitated atoms caused by the friction of two realities clashing against each other.

Though colossal and intimidating, the Bone Beasts have a limited physical presence in reality, occasionally seen passing through people and objects – but can still attack anything they deem a threat.

Plot

The Bone Beasts are seen walking over London in Conrad Clark’s Wish World. As doubt and wonder are discouraged emotions, the people of the world do not question the creatures’ existence, merely pausing as the Beasts walk by.  

As the Doctor and UNIT begin to wage war against the Rani, she sets the Bone Beasts on the UNIT Tower, luring them in by excitating the atoms of the building. UNIT keep the Beasts at bay until Ruby Sunday is able to procure the baby Desiderium end the wish of the world, whereupon they fade away back to the Underverse.
