The SniperBots were one of the obstacles on the planet Desolation in the Rally of the Twelve Galaxies. The hooded robot guards fired out laser bolts at anyone trying to pass through the ruins to reach the Ghost Monument.

The Thirteenth Doctor encountered them inside the ruins (a deserted shooting range) where Ryan tried to take them down using one of their guns – however, he accidentally made matters worse.

Surrounded, the Doctor defeated the SniperBots by sending out an electromagnetic pulse which “fried” their systems, giving her, Ryan, Graham and Yaz enough time to escape before they rebooted.
