Patrick Troughton's Doctor clashes with the deadly Cybermen in this collectable audio release of a lost classic adventure.
“You know our ways. You must be destroyed.”
The complete full-cast soundtrack of classic ‘lost’ BBC TV adventure The Wheel in Space is presented for the first time on 3LP vinyl by Demon Records, with linking narration by Wendy Padbury.
When the Second Doctor (Patrick Troughton) and Jamie (Frazer Hines) are rescued by the crew of the Wheel space station, they uncover the Cybermen’s plot to invade Earth with the help of deadly Cybermat servants. First broadcast in 1968, the story introduces a new companion for the Doctor in the shape of Zoe Heriot, played by Wendy Padbury.
The Wheel in Space will be released on vinyl on 16th February 2026. Pre-order yours here.

Written by David Whitaker from a story by Kit Pedler, and directed by Tristan de Vere Cole, only two episodes are known to exist on film. Thankfully, all six survive as sound recordings, complete with incidental music and the BBC Radiophonic Workshop’s familiar Doctor Who theme music.
With a striking cover illustration, the three ‘Bernalium Blue’ coloured 12” discs are housed in inner sleeves with vintage TV guide-style listings for each episode.
