The Doctor and Donna return to Earth to discover that the human race has descended into chaos, leading the Doctor to a fight with the Toymaker that he can never win! After teaming up with UNIT and playing the Toymaker’s maddening games, the Fourteenth Doctor regenerates - but this time it’s different.
In Ncuti Gatwa’s first outing as the Doctor, we’re introduced to bi-generation. The Fourteenth Doctor and Donna Noble live on together while a freshly regenerated Fifteenth Doctor flies away in his TARDIS. Phew! What did fans think of this mind-bending episode?
The terrifying Toymaker and his deadly games sent shivers up some fans' spines… and others had their socks knocked off with his jaunty Spice Girls performance!
