We first meet the chirpy Joy as she arrives at the Sandringham Hotel in London, around Christmas 2024. Booking a single room for herself, her peace is short-lived; as she is suddenly imposed upon by a well-dressed Silurian!

She barely has a moment to process this sudden appearance (and arm herself with the hotel hairdryer) before yet another visitor barges in, offering a ham and cheese toastie with a pumpkin latte. But why is the Doctor delivering room service...?
