When Doctor Who returned in 2005, Phil Collinson was the man who took on the day to day responsibility for producing the series - a role he retained until the end of Series Four.
Speaking last November at the Doctor Who Celebration event, Collinson talks candidly to Dalek actor Barnaby Edwards about the enormous challenges around resurrecting Doctor Who and the genius of Russell T Davies.

The Doctor Who 50th Celebration was a three day event at ExCeL celebrating 50 years of the world’s longest running sci-fi drama, Doctor Who. The event brought over 20,000 fans to East London over the anniversary weekend and features cast and crew from the very first episode to the most recent. Matt Smith, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy led the all-star cast and were joined by Jenna Coleman, Steven Moffat, Bernard Cribbins, Carole Ann Ford and many more.
