Exclusive video: Four Doctors discuss 50 years of Doctor Who

By Christopher Allen

Between them Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy represent almost half of Doctor Who's 50 years. And on the day of the show's anniversary, the four Doctors took to the stage at the Doctor Who Celebration to speak with passion and bags of humour about their role in the programme we all love.

Flitting between subjects as diverse as visiting Buckingham Palace, a "twelve year old" called Matt Smith, and the mixed feelings they had filming their regenerations into one another, they're kept (barely) in check by Voice-of-the-Daleks, Nick Briggs.

The event brought over 20,000 fans to East London over the anniversary weekend and features cast and crew from the very first episode to the most recent. Matt Smith, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy led the all-star cast and were joined by Jenna Coleman, Steven Moffat, Bernard Cribbins, Carole Ann Ford and many more.
