Make Sylvia Noble's Tuna Madras

The Fourteenth Doctor, Rose Noble, Donna Noble, Sylvia Noble and the Meep in a Kitchen

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons of ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of ground coriander (or fresh coriander if available)
  • Half teaspoon of turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon of hot chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger
  • Salt (to taste)
  • 1 onion
  • Chopped 5 cloves of garlic
  • Chopped 2 tins of tuna
  • Drained 1 tin of tomatoes
  • Half a jar of black olives

Method

  1. Fry the onion for five minutes until golden brown.
  2. Add the garlic, stir for two minutes.
  3. Mix in the spices, stir quickly, add in two tins of tuna.
  4. Stir again twice.
  5. Add the tin of tomatoes and the olives.
  6. Bring to a boil until the sauce thickens.
  7. Turn down low for ten minutes.
  8. Serve.

You can also use a jar of ready-made Madras sauce, but that's not the Noble way!
