John Bishop shares his earliest memories of watching Doctor Who...

"When you’re a kid, I guess it depends on what Doctor you see the most when you’re growing up. Jon Pertwee was my first incarnation of the Doctor and so was my introduction to Doctor Who. And then I stayed with it during the Tom Baker phase. That was when I watched the show the most. I remember that transition from Jon Pertwee to Tom Baker. I remember watching that regeneration episode. I didn’t believe he could do it! I’m just wondering what year that would have been and how old I was... It would have been 1974. Yeah, there you go, perfect time! I was eight years old – a great age to see this incredible transformation and then also to see the differences between the two Doctors, in their character and look. But I got it. I remember understanding that it was the same person."
