Friendship is integral to Doctor Who’s DNA, our story at its core is about friends travelling all of time and space, creating memories together. It’s one of the things people love most about Doctor Who.
Friendship is Universal is a celebration of the companionship and camaraderie that is at the heart of Doctor Who, both in the characters we love, and the heart (or hearts!) of every fan of the Whoniverse.
Launched at San Diego Comic-Con 2024 with a collaboration between Doctor Who and Star Trek, we are taking International Friendship Day beyond the stars with the inaugural Intergalactic Friendship Day on Tuesday 30th July 2024.

Through fifteen doctors and over a dozen brave captains, sci-fi fans have traveled on journeys spanning the cosmos, and on July 30th, fans will rejoice as two of the universe's biggest franchises collide as Doctor Who and Star Trek come together to celebrate the creation of the inaugural Intergalactic Friendship Day.
We came seeking friendship.
This epic crossover will be brought to life in a limited-time event in both the Doctor Who: Lost in Time mobile game and the Star Trek: Lower Decks mobile game from East Side Games starting on August 1st. Fans will be treated to the same thrilling story, experienced from two unique perspectives!
