Doctor Who has one of the world's most creative fanbases - producing hundreds of videos, stories and pieces of art daily. In recognition of this, today the BBC and BBC Worldwide have launched an interactive, fan-powered website to celebrate your loyalty throughout 50 years of adventures in the TARDIS.
The new digital TARDIS website showcases the creativity and passion of fans by pulling together the best content from Facebook, Twitter and Instagram in one place, to show the world that you are united in our support for the Doctor.
On arrival at the site, you will begreeted by a specially shot video of the Doctor, played by Matt Smith, sharing his fondness for ‘marvellous’ hashtags:
You can then either upload your content through the site or explore existing content by navigating around the 3D, golden TARDIS which will build over time, the more that you use the hashtag #SaveTheDay.
You can also tag your message of support for the Doctor on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with #SaveTheDay for the chance to be featured on the site. And if that wasn’t fun enough, the more content that is uploaded, the quicker five special sneak peek clips of The Day of the Doctor will be unlocked. Geronimo!
