The Eleventh Doctor and Clara Oswald

The Doctor returns in this run of nine brand-new blockbuster stories penned by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, amongst others. Matt Smith reprises his role as the Eleventh Doctor, while Jenna Coleman begins her role as the Doctor’s new companion Clara Oswald, The Impossible Girl.

The series sees the Doctor and Clara immersed in thrilling tales including a ghost story in a haunted house, a modern urban thriller in central London and a base-under-siege story set in a Soviet submarine. The TARDIS is explored like never before, and an upgraded, even more chilling version of the Cybermen is introduced during a visit to an inter-galactic theme park in an episode written by acclaimed author Neil Gaiman.

The action builds to a gripping finale where the Doctor’s oldest secret threatens to be revealed on Trenzalore, as the world’s longest running science fiction series heads towards its explosive 50th anniversary in November 2013.
